Beverly Armstrong is a highly experienced Family Nurse Practitioner with more than three decades of clinical experience across primary care, substance use treatment, infectious disease management, occupational health, and urgent care. She currently practices at Comprehensive Wellness Center in Lantana, Florida, where she specializes in the medical management of individuals in substance use disorder treatment.

In her current role, Beverly provides comprehensive care including admission histories and physicals, ongoing progress evaluations, and management of both acute and chronic medical conditions. She has extensive experience treating patients with co-occurring conditions such as HIV and Hepatitis C and is actively involved in addiction medicine, including prescribing buprenorphine (Suboxone) and administering extended-release buprenorphine (Sublocade). Her work emphasizes whole-person care, combining evidence-based medical treatment with compassionate support to promote long-term recovery and wellness.

Beverly’s background also includes medical surveillance and preventative care for first responders and 9/11 survivors, as well as prior roles in substance abuse treatment centers, correctional health, public health, pediatric primary care, and urgent care settings. Earlier in her career, she managed complex pediatric and adult patients, coordinated specialty care, and supported medically fragile populations across the lifespan.

She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Florida Atlantic University. Beverly is licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the state of Florida and holds a DEA registration with medication-assisted treatment authorization.
